WSBK: Brits top the table

The World Superbike Championship is already at the halfway point. Two wins at Donington Park at the last round have meant that Tom Sykes has retaken his position in second place in the championship and made up some ground on championship leader, Jonathan Rea. Chaz Davies slips to third place in the standings but still has a big lead over fourth place man, Davide Guigliano.

With Brits making up the top three as well as a total of five Brits in the top 10, it is another strong showing for the UK at world championship level racing. Much of this comes down to a having such a strong domestic championship will all five of these racers starting their career in BSB and all having championship or race wins at that level.
